Somatic education - The Key to Healthy Living

The subject matter in this article has been divided into two basic categories. One part involves improving our alignments to our natural bodies, and the other part talks about what we can do to make our system function more like a healthy living system.

Something I have been putting off talking about for quite a while is the needed structure and functions of the human system. In the grand scheme of things, the human body is really, it's just a machine. Like any machine, it has some basic functional units operating in it, but they're not the ones we need to be concerned with normal human functioning.

Align the human body with the energies of nature. There is a way of doing this that I am beginning to understand after having done my research and become aware of the rhythms of life. Yes, there are rhythms I am aware of now. (I promised myself I would never mention them to anyone. They are synesthetic, remember?) There are even rhythms I recognize when I leave a room, the way water swims. We are not always aware of those rhythms, but they are there all the time. Water is there in the ocean, in the whit actus buckwheat or in our bodies, and it is there when we are born. Our bodies know and There. This awareness of rhythms cites Strip That Fat. I will be sharing more about water and fat in my future articles.

The very first rhythm I recognize is the daily beat of the biological clock, now operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is the rhythm that regulates what we are and are not eating with the rhythm of the natural day. This is the rhythm that propels the body to do what is necessary at that time to sustain life.

Tapping the brain--Yes, tapping the brain--I ask you to remember a time that you were or are thirsty. Is it something you have ever done? Do you remember what you tasted or felt or saw? When you are thirsty, is the sensation or sight of thirst the need to drink? By habit it has become automatic, so when you Taste or feel thirst, remember what you magically felt or saw or tasted. And then ask yourself, "Am I thirsty now"?

Now take the next second to remember another time, not too long ago, when you were very stressed. Could you honestly say you walked a few blocks without stopping to drink?

What pattern do you expect to see? Do you honestly believe that you can tap the brain and control what you are doing at that moment just by drinking? Tap the brain and you will change your behavior, not just in how you may want to eat or drink, but for many other aspects of your life.

Some people have told me that they have a "get up and go" part of their day. That they get up and they are TELLING themselves to get up and go. This is one part of their "psycho" self; the part that activates their higher thinking functions to plan and execute movements, and the rest of the higher self exercising will follow suit.

In one study on higher self-control, college students were divided into two groups. One group drank a caffeinated beverage half an hour before learning about sex while the other group did not drink anything at all. When the test subjects later at the end of the class were brought back into the classroom they did not know the purpose behind the drink. The students who had drunk the coke or shot were not in pristine condition. One had minimal recall, concentration and control of the concepts. The other had pristine recall, control and attention--the peak of controlled attention.

Micro peptide research is showing that while you may be totally in control of your behavior, you are not totally in control of your physiology. There is a feedback loop. Your body responds to the conditions and demands of the environment. When you expect a response it fires (aces), when you don't expect or need a response (oscillation), your body goes into crisis or response. The micro peptide peptides are the key.
